Visit our Available Birds page to see the birds that are currently available. If a bird is listed as Available, it is available—there is no need to contact us simply to confirm availability. Each listing will include current photos, videos, and information to help you learn more about that bird before reaching out.
Let’s Talk
If you are interested in a particular bird, you can call or text us directly. We will answer your questions, discuss the bird with you, and, when appropriate, learn more about your experience and background with birds so we can help determine whether the bird is a good fit for your home.
Everything Explained Up Front
Before any payment is made, we will clearly explain the price of the bird, deposit requirements, accepted payment methods, remaining balance, shipping arrangements, the cost of the shipping crate, and any other applicable expenses. We want you to understand the entire process and costs before making a commitment.
Reserve Your Bird
Once you have selected your bird, your questions have been answered, and you are comfortable moving forward, we can proceed with the required deposit or full payment, depending on the circumstances. Once the reservation requirements have been completed, the bird will be marked as Reserved on our website and will no longer be offered to other customers.
Preparing Your Bird
Once your bird is reserved, we continue providing the care, nutrition, socialization, and attention needed while preparing for the transition to its new home. We do not rush this process. Each bird must be ready for the next step before leaving Jay Aviaries Farm.
Shipping or Pick-Up
We offer local pick-up as well as air shipping within the United States through Delta Cargo exclusively from Orlando International Airport (MCO). At this time, Jay Aviaries Farm does not offer international shipping or export services.
For local pick-up, any remaining balance must be paid no later than the time the bird is transferred to the buyer. For birds traveling by air, the full purchase price of the bird, Delta Cargo shipping cost, shipping crate, and all applicable transportation charges must be paid in full before the bird is considered reserved. We coordinate and prepay the shipment with Delta Cargo, and no bird will be released for shipment until all required funds have been received and cleared.
Welcome Home
Bringing your new bird home is an exciting transition, but every bird adjusts at its own pace. We will provide you with information about the bird’s current diet and routine to help make the transition as smooth as possible. Give your bird time to settle into its new environment, and follow the care, feeding, quarantine, and veterinary recommendations provided.
To maintain our 72-hour health guarantee, your bird must be examined by a licensed Avian Veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery or pick-up, as outlined in our Avian Sales Agreement.
